With her latest novel The Trick To Time set in Kilmore Quay and her native Birmingham, fans of Kit de Waal are already looking forward to her appearance at Write By The Sea 2018 when she and Rob Doyle will be interviewed by RTE presenter Rick O’Shea. The Trick To Time has already received hugely positive reviews from some heavyweight critics and looks set to follow her debut My Name Is Leon into numerous book collections.

Also scheduled for Write By The Sea 2018 is Cath Staincliffe, crime novelist and writer of the long-running tv series Blue Murder starring Caroline Quentin, and John McKenna, a popular regular on Sunday Miscellany,  while Irish songwriter Eleanor McEvoy will talk about song lyrics, a seriously topical subject in the wake of Bob Dylan’s Nobel Prize.
