She’s recently submitted my third novel, These Things are Real, and is working on her fourth. Michele has won the Michael McLaverty and the Bryan MacMahon Awards for her short stories.

As an actor, Michele has toured worldwide with the Abbey Theatre’s The Great Hunger and Dancing at Lughnasa. Her film work includes Omagh (Best Actress Winner Monte Carlo, IFTA Best Actress Nomination), Inside I’m Dancing, and Dorothy Mills. Television work includes BBC’s Best: His Mother’s Son, Journey to Knock, Holby City and Jack Taylor.

Knowing the right questions to ask to bring a character to life onstage and on-screen is an essential skill for an actor, and Michele draws on that expertise when creating her fictional characters in both long and short forms.
