Write by the Sea is delighted to welcome internationally-renowned author Colm Tóibín to lead the “Festival Edition” of its popular Zoom Room to Write series. Join us for a golden opportunity to meet Colm Tóibín live on Zoom on Saturday the 26th of September 2020.

Colm Tóibín’s novels include ‘Brooklyn’ (2009) and ‘Nora Webster’ (2015) and two collections of stories. He has been three times shortlisted for the Booker Prize for ‘The Blackwater Lightship’ (1999), ‘The Master’ (2005) and ‘The Testament of Mary’ (2012), the play of which was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play in 2013. His ninth novel ‘House of Names’ appeared in 2017. His other work includes collections of short stories, poetry, many works of non-fiction and editorial works. His writing has been translated into more than thirty languages.

In this unique event, Colm will reveal personal insights about his writing process and will share some of the highs of his literary career to date. As an added bonus, Colm will also be interviewed by guest interviewer Hazel Percival, Senior Executive Librarian at Wexford Library. Participants will also have an opportunity to pose their questions to the acclaimed author.
