Geraldine worked in Social Work for 37 years and in her latter work years she was Principal Social Worker for Co. Wexford.
She worked for several years in the fostering service and this was and remains her particular area of interest.
She also has a background as a lecturer in Early Childhood Studies and in facilitating groups for perpetrators of domestic violence.
She is retired but remains involved in fostering services locally. Her interests include reading, music and walking. She is grandparent to six beautiful grandchildren.
