One of the key attractions for Write By The Sea 2018 will be the appearance of author Sheila Llewellyn who will discuss her recent novel Walking Wounded with Jackie Hayden. The novel was given yet another positive review last week in The Times whose reviewer described Walking Wounded as “shocking” and “moving”,

The recent furore over the lack of women in the programme for this year’s Magill Summer School prompted us to have a look through our own programme for Write By The Sea. It turns out that out of the 44 contributors in our schedule, set out on this website, 21 are female.
