FOURTH ANNUAL WRITE BY THE SEA LITERARY FESTIVAL

The fourth annual Write By The Sea Literary Festival takes place from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29, at the Stella Maris Centre in the picturesque fishing village of Kilmore Quay.

Although still putting the finishing touches to this year’s programme, Write By The Sea 2019 has already received a considerable number of requests for tickets from loyal supporters, so they’re making a limited number of Early Bird weekend tickets available until April 21.  Early Bird Weekend tickets can be booked now via www.writebythesea.ie

Confirming the details, Lucy Moore, chair of Write By The Sea 2019, says “Write By The Sea has already become a big hit with readers, aspiring writers and published authors. Distinguished authors who have contributed over the past two years include John Banville, Jennifer Johnston, Kit de Waal, Dervla Murphy, Donal Ryan, English screenwriter Cath Staincliffe, Billy Roche, Rob Doyle, Cat Hogan, poets Thomas McCarthy, Jim Maguire and Joe Neal, Marcus Connaughton of RTE, and Peter Murphy.”

Write By The Sea 2019 will feature over 20 different events, including workshops, interviews and talks, and the committee have expressed their gratitude to all supporters, volunteers and contributors, as well as their sponsors, including Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Wexford County Council and Wexford Arts Centre, for their generous support.
